MoYou London Illusion Plate - Pastel Stamping Nail Art

May is turning out to be the month of nail mails! And a month of splurging too, but lets not talk about that. I was part of a group haul Veeral of Angel Nail Studio hosted a while back, and some major lemming squashing happened :) I got my first MoYou London plates, and they are soooo good.
I'm always looking for stamping polishes in lighter colours, so I snagged a white stamping polish by El Corazon as well.

Obviously, I had to come up with a pretty pastel gradient for the background :) Pardon the wonky placement please, I don't own a clear jelly stamper :(

I love how the warm colors blended together. This is definitely one of my favorite gradients I've done so far. Next step, Diagonal gradients! The image is from MoYou London Illusion plate 05, probably my favorite from this collection. I find it easier to work with such concentric-esq images, they go so well over a gradient and make your mani stand out.

The white polish used for stamping is by El Corazon, and to be honest, I'm not that blown away by it. Its chalky, and has a weird sort of dry-ish texture when it dries, and boy oh boy what a mess it is to clean up. It just stuck to my cuticles like superglue and kept coming off in powder-y bits. So yeah, quite a let down. But true to it's name, it stamps super well, is highly pigmented, and gets picked up on the stamper quite easily too. So for those of you who use latex or any other nail barrier, this will work wonders :) I'll have to remember to use liquid latex the next time I'm using this bad boy!
